Our Team
Saghir Nizami
President & Co-FounderSaghir Nizami is a first generation immigrant from Pakistan, a resident of Atlanta, GA for over 2 decades, and an IT professional. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and currently pursuing a master’s degree in Islamic Studies from Islamic Online University (pending final thesis). He passionately volunteers for any meaningful Islamic work, has supported or led efforts in establishing multiple Islamic centers, and has served at different positions of several non-profit organizations.
Dr. Yousaf Raza
Program Director & Co-FounderDr. Yousuf Raza is a Consultant Psychiatrist, mental health coach, and youth mentor with over a decade of clinical experience and extensive public speaking engagements. He holds a Master’s degree in Psychology, a Diplomate in Logotherapy, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of West Georgia.
Dr. Raza is deeply interested in the intersection between psychology and religion, specifically focusing on pragmatism, psychoanalysis, and the philosophy of Allama Iqbal. This unique academic focus informs his community teaching initiatives aimed at strengthening family dynamics, improving relationships, and promoting optimal mental health through individual consultations.
In addition to his clinical and academic pursuits, Dr. Raza has studied extensively under renowned scholars from Pakistan, notably Dr. Israr Ahmad, and has spent the past ten years teaching reflections from the Quran. He is the founder of Telepsychiatry, co-founder of Youth Club Pakistan, and co-founder of Kalimah Institute in Atlanta, initiatives dedicated to promoting mental wellness and spiritual growth within diverse communities.
Dr. Raza also contributes academically as an instructor at the University of West Georgia and is regularly invited to speak at national and international conventions, mental health, personal development, Islam, Quranic teachings, and spirituality.
Muhammad Faheem
Outreach Director & Co-FounderMuhammad Faheem grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where he memorized the Qur’an at Georgia Islamic Institute. He studied Quranic Arabic at Kitaab Academy, where he now serves as an instructor. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech. Actively involved in community leadership, he previously served as the sub-regional coordinator of Young Muslims (YM) Atlanta. Currently, he is pursuing advanced Islamic studies as a full-time student at Darul Qasim College.
